What is triggered in each stage of the sales pipeline?

Each stage has a unique set of emails, SMS, and tasks to help you sell more!

We have 7 campaigns for our sales pipeline: new lead, appointment scheduled, working, quote ready, quote sent, won, and lost

Each one has a unique combination of emails, sms messages, and tasks.

Each campaign also has a unique referral partner sequence that lets you keep your referral partner up to date on where the lead is at in the pipeline.

All campaigns are fully customizable, so yours can look completely differently with your own words if you choose.

There is also a commercial version of every campaign that you can edit and customize, just head to the "Commercial Lines" tab after going to your campaigns.

New Lead Campaigns

We have 3 new lead campaigns

  • Client Referral
  • Loan Officer
  • Foundational New Lead

The Client Referral campaign is meant to be triggered when clients send you referrals.

The Loan Officer campaign is intended to be triggered for leads who are sent to you by loan officers.

The Foundational New Lead campaign is intended to get that first conversation started so you can gather info quickly to get a quote created asap.

When you create a campaign for a specific lead source and LOB combination, as described here, the content is copied from the Foundational New lead campaign and from there you can make it your own campaign tailored to those leads!

Active Opportunity Campaigns

The Appointment Scheduled campaign sends an email 1 day before the appointment and an sms message 15 minutes before the appointment. It's there to help your prospects keep their appointments.

The Working campaign has no automated emails or text messages, it only uses tasks to remind you to follow up with prospects you put in this stage. This will be a place to put prospects that owe you information for the quote you hope to create for them.

The Quote Ready campaign is intended to get an appointment scheduled to present a quote to the prospect.

The Quote Sent campaign is intended to follow up with the prospect after you have presented the quote to them. This campaign assumes you did not send a video proposal.

The Quote Sent - Video Proposal campaign is an alternative version of the Quote Sent campaign and is a special campaign that lets you send a link to a video proposal that you've prepared for your prospect. A very effective campaign!

Long-Term Nurture & X-Date Campaigns

When moving an opportunity to "Lost" there are actually 3 campaigns that can be triggered, you can do all 3 or none if you'd prefer:

  • The Lost campaign - This sends a single email 30 minutes from now wishing them well and offering to help anytime in the future
  • The Long-term Nurture campaign - This is an educational campaign intended to keep you top of mind with your prospects and to position you as the expert. It has 9 emails that are sent from months 11 months before their X-date to 3 months before their X-date.
  • The X-Date campaign - This campaign is intended to follow up with your prospect 60 days before the expiration of their policy with your competitor.
