What happens if someone texts you, that isn't a contact in Better Agency?
Great question!
Now generally, if you are using a SMS number through Better Agency, this doesn't normally happen, as everyone you send out a message to, is in your account. However, there are some scenario's where this could happen:

A client shares your number that they are texting you with

You offer your SMS number to text to get more information, on an add or a website
However, if you are using an SMS number that is from your VOIP provider, than there is a GREAT chance someone may text you, that isn't already in Better Agency (A partner, a lead, etc).
So, what happens when a non-contact text your SMS number in Better Agency? Glad you asked...
1. Whenever any non-contact messages to your number in Better Agency, then it will display in the notification as shown in the attached screenshot
2. When you click on the notification then it will display the non-contact card as shown in the attached screenshot, from here you can manage the non-contact info and can send the SMS to non-contact.
3. On the non-contact card there is a button "Merge As Contact", when you click on this button it will open popup as shown in the attached screenshot, from this popup if you select "Yes" in the "Choose from existing contact" radio button, and search for a contact, then select it and click on the Merge button, then the non-contact number will get merged with the selected contact. If "No" is selected in the "Choose from existing contact" radio button, and click on the "Merge" button, then it will create a new contact with the non-contact number. Also, the communication of Non-contact gets merged with the contact.
