Release Notes 22.9.2

A comprehensive guide to our full 22.9.2 release on September 20th of 2022

Enhancements:

  • Allow for imports to continue automatically if an error occurs
      • Previously, users had to keep the import page open if they wanted to make sure it didn’t stop due to any errors. Now the import will continue if it hits a row with any problems in it (email in wrong format, assigned owner a name instead of email, etc)
  • Create a CSV with all rows that did not successfully import
      • Going with the previous update, we will store all of the rows that did not import and create a new CSV for the user to see what did not import and why
      • The CSV will mirror the headers from the file used to import exactly
      • The only difference is that column A will be the error that prevented that row from importing
  • Notification when an import completes
      • Same as above, users had no idea when an import was finished unless they stayed on the page the whole time or they went to the Import History and constantly refreshed the screen to see what was imported.
      • Now, an email will be sent to the user that did the import AND a bell notification will appear
      • The bell notification will have a link to download the CSV if there are errors and also give a brief summary of what was imported (100 contacts created, 37 contacts updated, 85 policies created, 48 policies updated, 12 rows not imported)
  • Import speed improved
      • Self explanatory but much needed. It is roughly twice as fast now
  • Ability to import full address
      • There were some instances where the sheets gave a full address instead of having the address, city, state, and zip broken out
      • Now, we have a field for Full Address and it will automatically parse out Address Line 1, Address Line 2 (including Unit Number), City, State, and Zip and then place them in the correct field on the Contact Record
  • Ability to map NAIC to Carrier on import
      • No more looking up the NAIC to check who the actual carrier is
      • Now if an NAIC is present in a row that was mapped to Carrier, we will search all of the NAICs we have for Carriers and match it appropriately
  • Add Unit Number as a field to import to
      • There were some cases when an address had Address line 1, Address Line 2, and a Unit Number present so there was no way to map in the Unit Number without manipulating the sheet
      • Now, you can map to a new field, Unit Number, and it will append the data to the end of Address Line 2 (this will work even if there is no Address line 2 on the file being imported)
  • New ACORD Forms
      • 28 Evidence Of Commercial Property Insurance
      • 85 Mobile Home Application
      • 175 Commercial Policy Change Request
      • 186 Contractors Supplement
      • 187 Professional Liability Supplement
  • ACORD Feature Speed Enhancements 🔥👟
    • Now doesn’t take 5+ seconds to create, load, save, email, etc
    • Takes <1 second, feels snappy!
