Release Notes - 22.3.2

A comprehensive guide to our full 22.3.2 release on March 22th of 2022

Enhancements:

  • Allow for more specific cancellation reasons
      • We were previously giving very generic reasons for policy cancellations that only accounted for a small percentage of the possible reasons. Now, users will have the ability to select between Agency Cancellation, Underwriting Cancellation, Insured Cancellation, Non-Pay, and Non-Renewal
      • Underwriting Cancellation will open up additional options of Failure to comply with recommendations, Risk no longer fits carrier appetite, Material misrepresentation, Material change in risk, Moral risk, and Other
      • -Insured Cancellation will open up additional options of Property/Vehicle/Business Sold, Moved out of state, Requested BOR change, Price, Service/Experience, and Other
      • Non-Renewal will open up additional options of Agency non-renewal, Insured non-renewal, Underwriting non-renewal, and Other
      • http://help.betteragency.io/policy-cancellation-reasons
  • Show specifically what was imported on the import history page
      • We were only showing name, email, owner name, phone, pipeline stage and if it was successful or not, even if none of these things were on the import. This was making it very difficult to narrow down when a specific change was made for a contact or policy.
      • Now, we will show exactly what was imported and nothing more
      • http://help.betteragency.io/import-history
  • Split policies by Personal/Commercial in Super Admin
      • This will make it easier for us to determine if there is a duplicate and just make it easier to find policies in Super Admin
  • Allow for multiple LOB codes to be associated with a single policy type in the database
      • This is huge for keeping policies clean. We were only able to have one LOB code for every policy type but now that we can have multiple, we have a lookup table to reference any time a new LOB code comes in, either from downloads, EZLynx Sync, or NowCerts
  • Allow for users to create a new contact when adding a new opportunity in the Sales Pipeline
  • Allow users to add secondary contacts when adding a new contact
      • This was a pretty annoying oversight on our part. Previously, users had to create the primary and then find the hidden ‘add secondary contact’ button in order to create a secondary contact.
      • Now, they will be able to do this when adding a new contact and they can add as many secondary contacts as they want
      • If the user indicates that the secondary contact is in the same household as the primary, they will not have to fill in the address, city, state, or zip because it will automatically pull from the primary
      • http://help.betteragency.io/adding-secondary-contacts-with-primary-contacts
  • Update new lead campaigns to match new policy types
      • This was already pushed live because of the nature of it but since we standardized our policy types, we needed to make sure all of the user create new lead campaigns would still fire off
  • User ID will be next to the user’s name in Super Admin now
      • This isn’t anything huge but it was annoying to try to find the user ID if we ever needed it for the devs
  • Commercial Teams
      • This one is huge for the impending personal/commercial split. It wouldn’t have made any sense to release that without giving the users the ability to route leads, renewals, service requests, claims, or cross sells like they currently can on the personal side
      • This will work exactly the same as the personal relationship routing (the current settings are all on the personal routing page now). Anyone who should be on a commercial team can be added the same way and then they can be selected for the relationship routing
      • http://help.betteragency.io/commercial-teams
  • Create Umbrella accounts (do NOT announce publicly yet)
      • This is our precursor to allowing for multiple locations. This was created so clusters and aggregators can have one master account to view all reporting for every agency under their “umbrella”
      • Still a lot of moving pieces on this one so please do not share this yet
  • Claims downloads will now create a New Ticket in the Service Center on download
      • A new ticket and a notification will be created.
      • The “Claim - Agency Initiated” campaign will be started if the claim is new.
      • It will find and merge any duplicate claim it can find.
      • It will close any tickets if the claims download says the claim is closed.
  • AL3 Import Tool
