Release Notes - 22.3.1

A comprehensive guide to our full 22.3.1 release on March 7th of 2022

Enhancements:

  • Policy Type Standardization
We have finally standardized our policy types so there will no longer be “Auto,” “Auto (Personal),” “Personal Auto,” etc. These changes already went live over the weekend.
Any existing policy that was in the system has been changed to reflect the new policy type standardization so users won’t have to do anything on their end
  • Allow users to edit Task due date
Previously, users were only able to snooze a task for a few hours or a day or two. Now, they will be able to completely edit the due date/time to be more exact

  • Give CRM users access to all campaigns
We had a few campaigns that were being triggered by downloads only and couldn’t be manually launched. Because of this, CRM users were able to see them but they could not use them. Specifically, Renewal Completion, Pending Cancellation, and both Personal and Commercial Insolvency campaigns (those two could be used but not launched from the Renewal Pipeline which they can be now)

  • Users can re-assign and delete Referral Partners
When a Referral Partner was created, they were automatically assigned to the user that created them and that could not be changed. This has been added by default for Admins now who can go in and change the assigned owner of the RP and even completely delete them now (previously they could only archive)

  • Notify users when a task is reassigned to them
Tasks were only sending notifications when a brand new one was created for a user, not when a task was reassigned. Additionally, if the original owner of the task was NOT the one to reassign it, they will also be notified (if an admin reassigns a task from one producer to another for example)
  • Add note field to tasks
Users can now leave notes on a task instead of having to constantly modify the task details. The note will be date and time stamped and have the user who left the note. Notes cannot be edited

  • Exporting contact list will not create duplicate rows if there are multiple secondary contacts
This was more of an oversight on our part when we first designed the export feature from the Contact List. Since we only had 1 column for Secondary Contact info, if a contact had multiple Secondaries, then we were creating multiple rows which looked like there were duplicates. Now, we will just continue to create Secondary Contact info columns to account for however many are needed. This was also creating issues for users when they were re-importing these lists or when they were trying to upload that list to a third party site (for cards, voicemails, etc) by creating duplicates there
  • Removed Policy Type requirement in Zapier in the Create/Update a Client action step
This was actually due to feedback from users who were just trying to update a client with a note, tag, or just update their contact info.
  • Allow for users to import to more Secondary Contact fields
We added in the ability to import to Address 1, 2, City, State, Zip, DOB, DL #, and DL State for Secondary Contacts. Previously, this had to be done manually
http://help.betteragency.io/importing-secondary-contact-info
  • Users can add Secondary Contacts when adding a Primary Contact
When clicking on Add Contact, users will now see a button at the bottom of the page to add a Secondary Contact instead of having to wait until the contact was created, then clicking the gear icon, then clicking Add Secondary Contact

If the user indicates that the Secondary Contact lives in the same household as the Primary, the address, city, state, and zip will automatically be added to avoid duplicate entry

  • Change UI of Import button
Previously, when a user was importing any contacts, the button said “Save Leads” which was confusing users who were importing active clients, winbacks, etc. It now just says “Import”
  • Add 2 new stages to the Renewal Pipeline
We added in 2 stages, Working Renewal and Renewal Ready, to the Renewal Pipeline. This was done so users can keep track of their renewals better and increase their efficiency by being able to distinguish which renewals are actively being worked, which ones are ready to be presented, and which ones still need to be looked at.
http://help.betteragency.io/working-renewal-and-renewal-ready
  • Added 2 new Renewal Pipeline campaigns
To go along with the above, each new stage has a corresponding campaign that users can trigger manually (only manually for right now) when a card is moved to them

Bugs:

  • The contact card is opening up at the bottom of the page
Fixed 🙌
  • Unmatched contacts were showing multiple duplicates when matching
When a user clicked on the Unmatched Policies and went to match a contact, if the contact existed in BA then we were showing multiple duplicates, sometimes a dozen or more, even if there was only one contact in the user’s database. This was resolved so now only 1 contact will show (unless they truly do have duplicates)
