Release Notes 22.10.1

A comprehensive guide to our full 22.10.1 release on October 4th of 2022

  • Make import dropdown fields searchable

    • This has been needed for a while now and it is finally live! Now, users will be able to search for the field that they are mapping to instead of having to scroll through the giant list and find what they are looking for
  • Carrier Mapping on import

    • This is one of the biggest things being released on this import. Instead of having to clean up a file before an import, you will now be able to map the Carriers on the sheet to the Carriers in Better Agency

    • We will search through all of our Parent and Child Carriers as well as the list of NAICs that we currently have to find a match before the user has to do anything

    • Once we have a match, we will display the Parent Carrier name

      • Example: if the sheet has SAFECO INS OF AMER then we will simply display Safeco on the dropdown and on the Policy after the import is complete

  • Policy Type mapping on Import

    • Similar to the Carrier Mapping, we will read the file being imported and try to identify as many of the Policy Types as we can ahead of time
    • We will look for Policy Type name and LOB Code to identify
    • For Policy Types that appear on both Personal and Commercial lines, we will automatically assign the policy to the correct line based on the rest of the row being imported
      • For example, if we are creating a Business and there is a Dwelling Fire policy on that row, we will create a Commercial Dwelling Fire policy and not a Personal Dwelling Fire
  • Import Tool UI Change

    • We made the import flow look a little cleaner throughout the entire process
  • New ACORD Forms

    • 4 Workers Compensation - First Report of Injury or Illness
    • 101 Additional Remarks
    • 106 Vacant Building Supplement
