To make creating new proposals even easier, Proposals By Better Agency has designed a feature to allow users to create standard proposal templates that can be saved and used for future use. To take advantage of a previously saved template, follow the instructions below.
1. On the home page of the portal, select "View" next to the agent who will be creating the new proposal. Once the agent has opened their profile, on the right-hand part of the screen, select "Add Proposal."
2. Select the type of insurance the proposal will be, whether business or commercial. Click "Next" to then select the type of insurance that will be proposed. After this, click "Next" to select the preferred design template and click "Next."
3. At the top of this screen will be a bar labeled "Use a Saved Template." Click on the drop-down to select the saved template you wish to autofill the proposal with. Continue with the rest of the proposal as usual.
*If you do not see the bar labeled "Use a Saved Template," there has not yet been a template created for the particular line of insurance you are proposing. To create a saved template, please see support article "How to Create a Saved Template for Future Use."
Congratulations! You have successfully used a saved template for your new proposal.
