Have you ever wondered what those different owners meant on the Sales Card? Well, look no further!
The first one is to indicate who the owner of the actual contact is. This is most likely who wrote the original policy/policies for this contact or who the lead was originally assigned to.
The second one is the Opportunity Owner. This is who is writing this particular policy. This can be anyone in the agency but the most common situation where this would be different than the Contact Owner is if you have a Cross-Sell specialist (usually for life insurance) that is selling a new policy to this contact. This is important so you can know who to pay for a particular policy if it was written by someone else.
