Cancelling a policy from the Renewal Pipeline

This article will walk you through cancelling a policy from the Renewal Pipeline

If you need to cancel a policy from the Renewal Pipeline, the process is quite easy. You will just drag the card from the first bucket all the way over to Completed. 

 

After you do this, you will see the Status options on the Renewal Card (Renewed, Re-Written, or Cancelled). Simply select Cancelled and then you will see the option to enter in the cancellation reason, the carrier they went with, and the premium (if known) as well as the potential x-date so you can try to win them back in the future. 

 

Note, you don't need to fill out the cancellation reason or carrier if you don't know it but if you do, it will populate that data to the Cancellation Report so you can get a good view of which carrier(s) you might be losing business to the most.
